Jean is a New York Times bestselling author and trusted advisor to hundreds of CEOs and senior leaders. He is a regular keynote speaker on subjects including corporate strategy, leadership, innovation, employee engagement and new organisational models.
Jean is also an expert facilitator, regularly undertaking high-challenge assignments across the globe for brands including Coca-Cola, Condé Nast, eBay, Halma, GE, Microsoft, Pfizer, Sony, Standard Life Investments, Superdrug, Stella McCartney, Toyota and UK Sport.
In 2010, Jean co-authored the New York Times bestseller, The Way We’re Working Isn’t Working, with Tony Schwartz.
In 1997, Jean co-founded the think tank, HumanITy, a UK charity that advises governments and NGOs on issues of social exclusion and technology. He is a Business Fellow of the University for the Creative Arts and has a keen interest in the arts.
In 2011 he attended the 2041 Inspire Antarctic Expedition ‘Leadership on the Edge’, where he spent a month in the Antarctic alongside corporate leaders, educators, students and entrepreneurs from around the world, as part of an ecological research and lobbying programme.
Tammy is Managing Director of DPA and a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD.
Tammy has extensive, global experience working in strategy, leadership development, communication and change with clients spanning the retail, finance, automotive, pharmaceutical, telecoms, sporting and electronics industries.
Tammy leads much of DPA’s leadership development work and isalso a skilled facilitator of senior teams who are tackling complex business issues.
Her assignments include working with the Board of the Women’s Tennis Association to create their vision and strategy, taking Coca-Cola’s change management strategy to their top 250 leaders in Africa, and being part of the team that created a new multi-billion dollar telecoms brand called Nokia Siemens Networks. Tammy has also created business performance and people strategies for a number of well-known brands.
Tammy has a Masters Degree in Leadership Development and is accredited by the British Psychological Society to administer both ability and personality testing. She is also a highly experienced psychometric practitioner and career coach, accredited in a number of well-known tools including Emotional Intelligence, the HOGAN Leadership Suite, MBTI, Team Effectiveness, DISC, 15FQ+, STRONG and the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Inventory.
Michael is the chief architect behind many of our clients’ most complex business transformation programmes.
By combining his experience of organisational design, planning and alignment with a deep insight into organisational behaviour, leadership and culture he helps organisations create the capacity for greater health, resilience and agility that is crucial in an increasingly volatile and complex world.
Michael works with leadership teams to create a clear vision for long-term organisational success and supports them to mobilise people, teams and communities to collaboratively develop the mindset, culture and competency required to deliver this. He works closely with senior groups to define their own role in the organisation’s future and enable the personal and collective shifts in the leadership approach this demands.
Since joining DPA in 2006, Michael has been an advisor to senior leaders in organisations including eBay, Royal London, Grey Advertising and Howdens.
Prior to joining DPA, Michael was the Head of Policy of a local government organisation.
David is an organisational performance consultant who specialises in strategy, innovation and the customer experience. He combines business psychology expertise with wide-ranging commercial experience as a former senior executive at Exxon Mobil, PepsiCo and The Gap.
David works with leaders to help them create and implement new business strategies by bringing his expertise in organisational design and development, change management, culture and growth.
A natural facilitator, he advises leadership teams on how to maximise organisational performance by placing the customer experience at the heart and by marrying ‘hard’ commercial realities with ‘soft’ people strategies.
David is a qualified Business Psychologist, is accredited to the British Psychological Society Level A and Level B standards to administer ability and personality testing, and is a member of the Professional Mediators’ Association.
Nikki Bartlett is a specialist in leaders, leadership and learning. As a trusted advisor, she works closely with senior leaders to help navigate complex business and leadership challenges. She asks the difficult questions, holds space for deeper thinking, challenges accountability and offers insight and objective wisdom. She favours practical, pragmatic action, collaborative working and trust. With extensive personal leadership experience and exposure to multiple leaders in a wide variety of circumstances, she can quickly cut through the noise and help create clarity.
Nikki is known for her energy and playful authenticity which comes with a strong sense of purpose and conviction. As a skilled facilitator, influential executive coach and dedicated learning, Nikki loves creating success for her clients. She is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and NLP Trainer, an accredited MBTI, Emotional Intelligence and Hypnosis Practitioner, and a member of International Coaching Federation.
Nikki is a key player in the DPA leadership development practice and is a dedicated and integral part of the DPA cultural ecosystem. Her recent clients include Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness, Gumtree, eBay, 1st Central Insurance, M&G Investments and Southern Water.
Clare is an experienced leadership development specialist. She combines deep subject matter expertise with broad corporate experience, having previously worked at Unilever, BP and Thames Water.
Since joining DPA in 2010, Clare has co-designed and led some of the company’s most significant leadership and management development programmes and skills training for clients including Allianz, Sanofi, Scottish Life, Sony and Telefonica O2.
Clare has a particular passion for helping leaders develop their Emotional intelligence. As an accredited practitioner in a major EI profiling tool, Clare has become one of DPA’s most experienced EI coaches.
Clare is an associate member of the CIPD.
Francis combines conventional experience with unconventional wisdom in his work with leaders and teams, often working with values, culture and embodiment. He has been helping individuals and teams learn and develop for over 15 years, has authored four books and contributed to other publications including professional resources for cultivating compassionate leadership.
Francis is expert at creating transformational programmes that balance being safe enough for people to take the risks that engender real learning with being challenging enough to stretch people. He offers powerful listening and his own compelling insight to support leaders and teams in digging deeper and asking the tough questions that create breakthrough results.
Francis has worked with leaders ranging from graduates to CEO’s, from all over the world, and across multiple sectors. Previous clients include Allianz, Wiley Publishing, BMI Healthcare, Hewlett Packard, The Met. Police, HSBC Bank and Grey (Creative Agency).
Francis is an international trainer of facilitators and coaches. He has a Diploma in Executive Coaching, a degree from a top UK drama school, is a certified Embodied Change Facilitator, holds a foundation in Appreciative Inquiry, and is the only person in the UK certified to deliver The Samurai Game®. He is trained in using various psychometric tools including the Pearson-Marr Archetype Indicator, Emotional Intelligence Profiling, and the GC (Game Changer) Index.
A career that spans consulting, software development and building several businesses means that as part of the DPA Consulting team, Phil is ideally placed to provide DPA clients with innovative digital learning tools and solutions that will meet their business needs and expand their learning and development capability.
Phil completed the executive MBA programme at the University of Surrey in 2008 and is a member of the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs.
Paul has developed hundreds of leaders and teams in global organisations and has worked with clients in professional services, financial services, manufacturing and technology sectors. He focuses on leadership/management development, leading change, culture and values programmes and commercial skills development.
In 2015, Paul completed his MSc in Business Improvement Leadership which involved applying and coaching others in Solution Focused Thinking techniques.
Paul spent 10 years at the accountancy firm BDO, in learning and development management roles. He led the creation and UK roll out of a new commercial development programme of blended solutions. During his five years at British Airways, after an operational management role there, he led a Corporate Training Team responsible for global learning solutions and induction.
Paul’s early career was in the British Army (Royal Engineers), where he trained people to overcome obstacles, build bridges and deal with minefields. Skills that have also proved very useful in the corporate world! He is accredited in various tools, including Emotional Intelligence 360 feedback, Insights, Myers-Briggs and Team Management Systems.
Lee is a consultant at DPA and offers over 10 years experience in developing leaders and managers in frontline management skills through to business/strategic direction planning. His experience has been gained from different business sectors including Finance/Insurance and Travel and Tourism management.
As a dedicated and passionate facilitator, Lee has worked for some of the most successful brands in the UK such as TUI UK & Ireland and Volkswagen Group UK.
Lee has a passion for leadership training that incorporates different types of behavioural theory, and is a licensed practitioner of Insights Discovery, which utilises Carl Jung’s theory. He is also an accredited Emotional Intelligence practitioner with experience of applying this on an international scale.
Melody is an experienced facilitator and coach who has been delivering development programmes to a wide variety of clients since 2002. In 2017 she gained an MSc in Occupational & Business Psychology from Kingston University, combining an evidence based approach with her practical experience.
Melody brings energy, enthusiasm and expertise to all her work designing, delivering and evaluating learning events which leave a lasting legacy. She has recently collaborated on leadership programmes with global organisation in the defence and aerospace, engineering and finance industries as well as coaching the managers of an Opera House and developing Entrepreneurs through Sussex Chamber of Commerce.
Melody is a member of the Association of Business Psychologists, an associate of the CIPD and a qualified BPS registered test user for Occupational Ability and Personality Testing. Her early career included eight years leading teams in sales and quality functions within the Reed Group, which keeps her feet firmly on the ground.
Emma brings her passion and enthusiasm for business psychology and individual learning and development to the design and delivery of leadership programmes at dpa.
Over the last three years Emma has worked with many global organisations to design and implement effective change programmes. Building leadership capabilities to deliver future organisational strategy and working with leaders to define and embed values and behaviours for success through the teams around them.
In 2014 Emma completed an MSc in Occupational Psychology at Birkbeck University where she focused her research on the motivations for career success of high performing individuals. She continues to apply psychological learning principles to practical solutions for her clients; designing meaningful and impactful learning journeys for all involved.
Emma also has over eight years’ experience in corporate communications, working with leadership teams within financial and professional service organisations to articulate business strategy to national media and external stakeholders. She continues to use these skills in her work today, helping leaders develop their own authentic communication styles with employee audiences.
Emma is a qualified BPS registered test user for Occupational Ability and Personality Testing and she also holds a BA Hons degree in Social Psychology from Cambridge University.
Emma is responsible for managing DPA’s operations. With her organised, pro-active attitude and positive outlook means she is the ideal person to ensure that DPA’s operations run smoothly. She also assists in the coordination of leadership development, innovation and strategy programmes.
As Operations Manager, Emma supports, HR, finance, recruitment, the building/facilities, compliance, ISO9001 quality management and general office management.
Emma has an extensive sales and business support background within the financial and packaging markets. She has strong customer relationship management experience and has a structured approach to planning and organisation using quality standards.
Drawing on knowledge from a training and consultancy background, Sam offers a keen eye for detail with a flexible and proactive approach to her work.
Sam’s customer service mentality and pride in providing efficient and effective administrative support is key to delivering end to end programme coordination, supporting the consultants on a variety of leadership programme and consultancy deliverables.
Prior to joining DPA, Sam worked as an Operations Coordinator for an HR Consultancy that offers design and delivery of talent assessment methods, tools and solutions. She has extensive experience in coordinating large, global assessment and development centres, alongside working with sensitive psychometric data.

With a wealth of experience in support roles in both the public and private sectors, excellent organisational and customer service skills and knowledge of managing high volume projects in a calm, professional and efficient manner, Lisa is responsible for providing and ensuring a high quality service for our clients in conjunction with DPA’s consulting team.
As a highly competent, efficient and organised administrator she oversees the smooth day to day running of the office as well as providing support for the Director Team, ad hoc office IT support and liaising with our clients to ensure they receive the best experience and service possible from first contact to event or delivery.

Glyn has vast experience in leading and managing creative design studios. Working across many different sectors such as Telecommunications, ICT, Hotel & Hospitality and Healthcare, Glyn is equally at home designing for print, digital initiatives or the web.
Glyn has a strong client focused mentality and is always looking for new ways to make business communications more creative and engaging.
Caroline is a graphic designer with over 15 years experience of delivering creative and engaging design solutions for both print and digital applications. Having worked in various sectors, including professional and financial services, Caroline is well rehearsed in communicating complex information simply and visually. With a keen interest in brand development and design trends, Caroline relishes the opportunity to research and develop new and innovative communication materials.

John is an accomplished Business Change Practitioner with twenty years’ experience of guiding leading private and public sector organisations to achieve lasting benefit through change. Previous clients include BT, Toyota, Southern Water, the British Red Cross and the Home Office.
Combining transformational change expertise and practical benefit management approaches, John helps organisations to be clear about their desired destination and designs the model change roadmap to get there.
Engaging and supporting the people impacted through change has been a constant theme in his work. John has demonstrated that managing the human capacity for change – motivation, learning, culture and leadership – delivers real value for organisations, regardless of the sector or the challenges.
