EA Games is behind some of the biggest games franchises across the globe. But how could their leaders use the skill of storytelling, so evident in their games, to engage employees and empower their teams to continue to disrupt and innovate?
DPA designed “SLXelerator”, a week long disruptive leadership experience in LA. 30 of EA’s leaders worked with Hollywood directors, rock bands, storytelling gurus and innovation experts to make breakthroughs in their storytelling abilities.
The delegates worked in groups and each group was assigned a local band to represent and create a compelling story/campaign. The showcase event at the end of the week saw the bands perform and the leaders pitch to an audience of execs from a major music company with the winning band receiving a $10 million publishing contract.
